This is a antique cloisonne small cup, underlay in gold with assorted color like rainbow. It included yellow, strawberry red, sky blue, pink purple, dark blue and brown. The painter is so skillful drawing nice details.
The layout design as follows:
( 1 a ) The center of two side: each draw a beautiful lady with instrument sit down on the floor.
( 1 b ) Two butterfly in the air, fir tree and mulberry tree behind the lady.
( 1 c ) More far distance four kapok trees.
( 2 ) The cup surrounded with peach blossom flowers in yellow, strawberry red, sky blue, pink, purple, dark blue and green leaves.
( 3 ) white glaze underlay inside the cup. The cup mouth surrounded in gold, yellow and brown glaze with happy symbols.
( 4 ) White glaze underlay in the bottom of the base. A red seal inprinted with four chinese characters.
It is over 100 years ..
Size: Approximately: Diameter - cup mouth 3 5/8 inches, Height - 2 1/8 inches. Base: approx. 1 3/8 inches.
Item Condition: Fine condition except some marks and missing glaze on the cup mouth. It is due to age but not affected its beauty.
